The
Divine Stuff We Are Made of. The tradition of the 72
Angels and the Tree of Life sheds new light on our
age-old ideas of guardian angels. This remarkable body
of wisdom reveals that the Angels are not only
guardians, guides and messengers from Above -- they are
actually the “Divine Stuff” we are made of dwelling
consciously within us. This not only explains the
ancient mystery of how we are made “in the image and
likeness of the Divine,” but also how the Angels are the

Work
& Play with the Angels. As a foundation for
“activating” the 72 Angels in your life, it is suggested
that you interact with your Birth Angels as well as the
three Angels governing in rotation during the current
5-day, daily and 20-minute periods. As our awareness
awakens to the Angels within us, our willingness to
receive them expands their presence. As they take up
more and more “inner room,” there is less room for
doubts and fears and old hurts. Looking out through our
Angel-eyes, we are able to see the gifts waiting in the
wings of every difficult moment, and external
circumstances and relationships as mirrors to the things
within us that need strengthening or healing. In
coincidental encounters and conversations, we feel the
magical play of life as we hear the Angels’ uncanny and
timely messages. In our dreams we are given symbols and
clues to unlock the mysteries and meanings of our gifts,
circumstances and challenges. Often we share Birth
Angels with people in our lives who are significant
influences or catalysts to our growth and well-being,
and we may invoke each other’s Birth Angels to help us
understand and heal difficult dynamics. The secret of
working with the Angels is to let them do the work! Ask
-- and open to receive! We do not have to understand
everything to be transformed. Awareness and willingness
are the “wings” that give loft to quantum leaps. In
surrendering to what is, we allow what can be to emerge.
In welcoming the machinations and miracles of the
Angels, we can be more beautifully and fully human than
we ever dared to imagine!
Where
the Angels Live & Breathe. The earthly home of the
Angels is the human heart -- something all of us have in
common, whatever language we speak or ideologies we
express. If you experience God as Love, then you might
understand the 72 Angels as representing 72 different
embodiments and vibrations of love -- a love that is
like a 72-colored rainbow radiating the infinite
combinations of Divine hues that we as “hue-mans” embody
and express. This is a love composed of as many
different qualities, forms, faces and expressions as
there are people…a love that contains all purposes and
possibilities…a love that waits on us to discover that
however long or far we seek, what we are looking for is
always right here in our heart of hearts, prompting us
to ask, beckoning us to receive, inviting us to become
more and more who we truly are. And to know once and for
all that, truly, we are not alone -- for there is always

So Below” relationship between the Human and the Divine. Shows

The
Origin of the 72 Angels Tradition.
The 72 Angels
tradition is not a religion, but a powerful spiritual
tool for anyone in any walk of life. It was systematized
during the 11th-15th centuries in France and Spain by
multi-traditioned mystics and scholars (including
Christians, Hebrews, Sufis and Neoplatonists) working
with the Kabbalah who believed that every individual has
a right to direct communion with the Divine. Suppressed
by the 15th c. Spanish Inquisition, it remained hidden
until the 1975 excavation of a Gerona grotto. In this
multi-traditional Kabbalistic cosmology, the 72 Angelic
Energies are actual embodiments of the 72 Names and
Qualities of the Divine Person expressed during the Act
of Creation. Thus, each Angel has a specific name,
quality and function, as well as particular days and
times of governing which coincide with the prevailing
astrological aspects and degrees of the Zodiac at the
Angel’s moment of manifestation. The 72 Angels and their
governing Archangels “reside” in 9 specific locations (Sephirot,
or Choirs) on the Tree of Life. This is a symbolic
template which represents the stages of Divine Emanation
into the created world, and the roots and branches of
which entwine Heaven and Earth within the human body and
being. As “edible fruits” upon this ever-manifesting
Tree, the 72 Angels implant and nourish all levels of
creation as their seeds of Divinity take root in our
humanity to grow and flourish on this Earth.
